Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2
This course is designed for learners wishing to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to provide appropriate care and manage life threatening conditions, minor illness and injuries. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The qualification covers a range of essential emergency first aid topics including :
- The role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness
- Managing unconscious casualties
- Cardiopulmonary (CPR), and
- Responding to incidents, such as choking or external bleeding.
Certificate Validity
The Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is valid for a period of three years. After this period, individuals wishing to retain their status as emergency first aiders must re-qualify.
Assessment Method
This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and written/oral questioning.
Award in Fire Safety Principles Level 2
Who Needs This Qualification?
This qualification provides employees with the knowledge to help them carry out designated duties relating to fire safety and emergency procedures in the workplace. Employees who hope to develop their basic fire safety awareness in order to assist their employer by undertaking specific fire safety roles in the workplace, e.g. as fire wardens / fire marshals.

Award in Food Safety Catering Level 2
Who Needs This Qualification?
This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of the importance of good personal and workplace hygiene and how to keep food safe from contamination. This qualification allows learners to take responsibility for food safety in a catering environment.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Learners will build an understanding on the importance of safe food handling practices and keeping foods safe.

The Level 2 Award in Food Safety Catering is valid for a period of three years.

Who Should Attend?

AOSH UK Train the Trainer programs are designed primarily for learning professionals – trainers, instructional designers, and organizational development practitioners – but would also benefit anyone within an organization who is responsible for developing others, from managers to human resources specialists.
Attendance Policy
Participation in the full program is mandatory in order to receive the certificate of completion. Participants who miss more than two hours of the entire program will not be eligible to receive the certificate. Participants who fulfill the attendance requirement will receive a certificate at the end of the program.

The AOSH UK Master Trainer program is assessed by MultiChoice Questions (MCQ) and Practical demonstration including delivering a minimum 20-minute training session. To Award this qualification the Learner must achieve a minimum percentage pass in the MCQ and practical demonstration.
